A Step Above School of Performing Arts was founded in the spring of 2014 after Erica Teller saw a need for more performing arts options in the area. What started as a few children's classes 2 days a week at the fitness center in Rio Rico has now developed into multi-level class options 3-4 days a week. Our newest location is in the Rio Rico Shopping Center.

What We Believe

- We believe our dancers should be happy, healthy and safe as our #1 priority

- We believe our dancers should always have age-appropriate costumes, music, and choreography

- We believe all dancers should be able to have the same opportunities if possible (scholarship program)

- We believe in teaching our students the love of the arts and proper technique at the same time.
